What do I have to do?
For us to create your website, we need you to send us an enquiry form. Click here, select the package that suits you best, then fill in the required information on the form given to you. We will then make your website and if you are happy with it we will then proceed to payment. Once we receive final payment, your site will be put online for all to see.
What do you require to make my website?
You will not need to worry about any of these things, other than supplying us with the information to create your site.
1. You will need a domain name (e.g. http://www.yourcompany.com) Don't worry, you wont need to do this yourself we will regsiter it for you (just tell us what you want your address to be!)
2. You will need your website designing, just tell us what you want on your site and what you want it to look like and we will take it from there.
3. You will need a Web Host, don't worry we will take care of this for you as well, we can either host your site or refer you to a hosting site (we'll guide you all the way with this).
What is Web Hosting and do I need it?
Web Hosting is the place that holds all of your web pages on the internet and makes them available for everyone to see. If you do not have a web host then your pages will not be visible to people on the internet. We can provide you with web hosting for an annual fee, which will keep your website online and viewable to the world for as long as you have your site with us. If you no longer want this service just tell us and we can stop it when you wish.
Whats Included in the Web Hosting?
If you choose to purchase a package that includes web hosting, or you add it onto your package as an extra, you will need to know what is included. You will have Unlimited file space, e-mail accounts, sub-domains and much more! To add files to our server, just send us the file via e-mail and we will upload it to the server for you. If you want to add something to the server just ask us, and we will see what we can do. Hosting starts from £10 per year or comes free with some packages (to find out which ones click here).
I have my own Domain Name and already have a Host, what do I do?
If you already have a Domain name and host, you will not need to pay for extra hosting or another domain name. We can simply transfer all your web pages onto your host and your site will be online for all to see. If you have your own, then please state so in the form you will be taken to once you have selected the package you would like.
What is a Domain name and do I need it?
A domain name is the website address people use to connect to your website. It is your companies identitiy on the internet. For example a domain name is www.mycompany.com. You will need a Domain name as this is how people find your site. Don't worry, you won't need to register a domain name yourself, we will register it for you (just tell us what you want your address to be!) We can also give you a free subdomain e.g. http://mycompany.bobalania.com if you prefer, but this isn't recommended (just state this in your order form in the space provided). If you no longer want this service just tell us and we can stop it when you wish.
How do I get a Domain name?
We can provide you with your chosen domain name (just specify this in the enquiry form) and we will handle everything else from there. Domain names come free with some packages, but can also be added onto any package for an extra cost of £5 per year.
How do I pay for my website?
Payment is processed through Paypal. You pay for your website after you are happy with the design and content of your site. A link for payment will be sent to you via email when it is required. If you are also paying monthly for hosting/maintenance/domain you will be sent a link at the required time each month to pay for your websites services (payment may also automatically be taken out of your account with permission). If we do not receive payment from you, the site will be taken offline until payment is made. Payment can also be made through Cheque or Cash if you are in the local area (just specify this sometime before payment or in enquiry form).
What is Web Maintenance?
If you want to update your site with new pages, images, text with your companies latest news or details, then we can do this for you for an annual cost. Simply tell us what you want updating and leave the rest to us!
How do I update my website/maintenance?
Updating your site depends on the package you pick and the extras you select. If you pick our basic package we will send you the site or upload it to your server via ftp for you, once this is done it will then be up to you to update your website (contact us if you need help!). If you select Hosting but not maintenance your site will be uploaded to our server, but you will only get one update per month. If you select maintenance but not hosting we will upload the updates to your site via ftp if and when you need it. If you select both hosting and maintenance (which is highly reccommended) you just send us the information of what you want updating via e-mail and we will handle everything from there to make sure your website is as up to date as you require it. If you no longer want this service just tell us and we can stop it when you wish.
